Hey, I'm Jude!
Hey, I'm Jude! I'm a performer at heart, but there's so much more to discover about me as you scroll through these photos. Beyond the stage, I'm a tea enthusiast, soccer player, fisher-woman, occasional model, and an adventurer who loves traveling and hiking. Halloween, animals, Glee, and unique, funky clothing are some of my favorite things. Most of all, I love to laugh and, even better, to make others laugh, bringing joy to others is one of my favorite things to do. As you browse my photos, I hope to bring a smile to your face and share a bit of the joy I find in life.
Friends and Family
The person you see in these pictures is shaped by both the people I was born knowing and those I’ve met along the way. My family and friends have taught me how to live boldly—through kindness, faith, humor, and love. To know me is to know them, as I hold the people in my life close to my heart, always.
Colorado Native
In college, I earned the nickname "Colorado granola girl," a title I wore proudly. As one friend perfectly put it, if I were a candle scent, it would be "Autumn sweater Christian granola." I’m a Colorado native who fully embraces the rugged outdoors, and I’m always up for an adventure. If you’re a fellow skier, hiker, rock climber, or even a "let’s jump in the snow for fun" kind of person, let’s hit the trails together!
Drake University Alum
I graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Marketing from the amazing Drake University, SKO DAWGS! During my college years, I was involved in so many incredible experiences. I took on a leadership role with The Salt Company, played intramural soccer, and was a Theta Chi fraternity sweetheart. I had the chance to perform on three different Drake stages, represent my theatre department at the Irene Ryan Region 5 finals, and even study abroad in London. My time was also filled with exploring the Des Moines farmers market and celebrating the Drake Relays with friends at our annual paint fight.
World Traveler
I've been lucky to grow up with parents who’ve always emphasized the importance of exploring the world and understanding other cultures. Thanks to them, I've traveled to 27 states and 17 countries, each with its own unique stories and lessons. From visiting the hills of Austria where *The Sound of Music* was filmed, to sampling chicken feet in Thailand, dancing to ABBA in Sweden, catching 34 shows in London, and even getting the flu in Ireland, each trip has added a chapter to my story. These experiences have shown me the beauty of human connection that goes beyond language.
Theatre People
Theatre people are the best kind of people, they inspire me to keep growing as an artist and constantly push me to new heights I never thought I could reach. I couldn't ask for a better support system than the one I’ve found over the years performing at my hometown StageDoor Theatre, within the Drake Theatre Department, and through various summer stock experiences. Every opportunity to perform has allowed me to be my authentic self, express my creativity, and share my passion for this beautiful craft with others.
